Vs Computer
Climb four rivals: Bench Rookie, Class Regular, Desk Bully, Back Row Legend. Optional coin stakes. Harder rungs pay more.
A pen fight (also written penfight) is the classroom game where two people flick pens across a school desk and try to knock the other pen off the edge. Pen Fight: Flick Battle is that pen fight game on iPhone and iPad: flick your pen, knock the opponent's pen off the desk, play vs a friend on one phone or versus four AI rivals. Matches are best of 5. Free download on the App Store. Rated 4+, iOS 17+. Released 20 August 2026 by Paolo Furlan.

Same desk rules in every mode. The menu names them the way the app does.

A new board every week, the same one for everyone. Three tries a day. Keep the streak alive.
Two players, one phone. Hand it between turns.
Full roster, no levelling, no coins.
Weekly Desk is generated from the calendar week, so everyone faces the same opponent, the same pen, and the same twist for seven days. You get three tries a day at it. Clearing it pays coins and a streak bonus. Miss a whole week and the streak resets on Monday.
Coins buy looks, never physics. The Locker holds finishes for any pen you own, and ten desks to fight on. Shop purchases follow the same rule: money never makes a pen hit harder.
Ten pens to level up into, three more for coins, and they do climb — the case is a ladder, not a shelf of sidegrades. It is also worth less than your aim: one degree of wobble on a flick swings a match further than the whole thirteen-pen roster does, and the pens that carry furthest are the ones that slide off the desk when you miss. Vs a Friend opens the full roster for both players.
The two tricks that actually work in this pen fight game are aim and contact. A tip hit makes the other pen spin so it slides off the edge. A center hit is a straight shove when they are already close to the side. Do not fire at full power every time: a short flick that stays on the desk beats a wild shot that takes you with it. Unlock heavier pens for push, lighter pens for spin. There is no single best pen.

Yes. Pen Fight: Flick Battle is a free iPhone and iPad game. A short full-screen advert appears after a match — never during one — and a one-time purchase called Remove Ads turns them off for good. There are also optional in-app purchases for cosmetics and coins. Desks and finishes never change how a pen plays; coins also buy pens, and three coin-only pens are stronger than the ones unlocked by playing. Take turns. Knock the other pen fully off the desk to win. Falling off yourself loses the round. Tip hits spin, center hits push. Best of 5.
